Two little boys and a little girl were playing in the backyard of their home. Their parents were watching them and smiling at the sweet scene. The little girl fell on the ground and the oldest of the boys’ runs up to her to see if she’s all right.

“Bells are you all right?” the black haired little boy asks.

The little girl nods her head smiling and extending her hand to her brother who pulls her up. They were the Salvatore family. While their origins were here, in Italy, the parents were thinking about moving across the world to the new found lands of America.

“Damon is always taking care of our little girl,” the man smiles, turning to his stunning wife, who had long chestnut hair and a piercing blue gaze.

“And Isabella is always taking care of Stefan and Damon,” she replies. “No matter what, our children will never be alone. They will always have each other. In the dark times and in the good times.”

They share a soft smile and calling their children inside, they needed finishing packing for the long and tiring trip.

The Salvatore’s siblings were waiting for someone to arrive to their house. Isabella and Damon were making fun of the youngest, Stefan, because he was always doing what their father wanted. They stopped laughing once they saw the carriage arriving. When it stopped in front of the doorway, two ladies got out. One with the skin two shades darker than theirs, the maid and a lady, a beautiful hypnotizing lady with long brown and curly hair and dark brown eyes. Damon stepped in front of his siblings to great their guest.

“Welcome my lady. I’m Damon Salvatore and these are my brother, Stefan and my sister, Isabella Salvatore.”

“Thank you; it’s a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Katherine, Katherine Pierce and this is my maid, Emily Bennet,” Katherine said looking at the boys intently. “I have a feeling we are all going to get along great.”

“Let’s get inside. Father would like to meet you,” Stefan said.

They all go inside. Isabella had a bad feeling about this Katherine. She was going to do something in her family. When and how… she didn’t know.

Damon and Stefan were fighting again. The subject was once again Katherine. Isabella was sick of that. Her brothers stopped being friends and now they hated each other. Just because of a woman who only wants to play with them. Suddenly a noise is heard on the stairs. When Isabella was on the doorway of her room she saw Katherine being arrested and her father screaming to her bothers for getting involved with a vampire.

“What’s going on?” Isabella asked.

“Your brothers are a disgrace in this family. I only can count with you. Now go to your room and let me deal with these boys!” Giuseppe Salvatore yelled.

“Father, please… They were deceived…” Isabella begs.

“Obey girl! Now!” Her father screamed.

“You don’t need scream at her. She was only trying defending us,” Damon said.

“Be quiet Damon! Go now Isabella!”

Defeated, Isabella went to her room. She stayed there until Emily, Katherine’s maid knocked on the door and told her that Stefan and Damon needed her help. When she was leaving her room to help her brothers, her mother tried stop her and without success, attacked her daughter. Isabella was stabbed by her own mother on the back.

Next day

Isabella woke up in a field with her head on Damon’s lap.

“Hello there, little sister. How are you feeling?”

“I’m fine. What happened? I can only remember that I was coming to help you and mother attacked me behind my back.”

“Well, we are vampires now. Katherine changed us. I woke up here just like you and Stefan.”

“Where is he?”

“Don’t know and I don’t care.”

“I understand. But I’m worried… what about our parents?”

Suddenly Stefan appeared with a boy and a girl. He explained the sensation of drinking the human blood and convinced his brother and sister to drink too. And that day was the day the Salvatore siblings become vampires. In the end, Damon promised that he was going to hate forever Stefan for turning him and Isabella into vampires. And every vampire knows that forever is a long time.

Forks, Washington, 2011

Isabella was in her room of a small house in one little town, named Forks. It was always raining in Forks, a fact that upsets Isabella. A small price to pay if she wanted to be with the man she loved. How she missed him after she thought he was dead because of the Spanish Influenza. But when the witch, Angela, told her that Edward was alive and it was a vampire, a ‘Cold One’ she came after him. She had to compel the human, Charlie; into thinking he had a daughter, being her. But she missed two important people in her life, her brothers, Damon and Stefan. The last time she was with them was in the year 1918. She picked one photo from her journal. It was her, Damon and Stefan.

“I miss you guys. I hope that you could save Elena.” She tells herself.

Isabella wrote on journals since Katherine arrived in her town. She would tell there what her brothers acted around Katherine. Her journals were since the year 1864 until 2011. She was writing in her journal and waiting for Edward to come to pick her up and to take her to his house. She was thinking about tell him the truth about her and their past. When she finished her writing her cell phone started to ring.

“Hello?”

“Bella?” said the other voice on the other side.

“Stefan? Something happened?” Bella said worried.

“Damon was bitten by a werewolf. He needs you. I need you there.”

“Okay. I’m on my way. Let me pack my journals and some clothes. I will be there by tomorrow.” Bella swallowed, fear crawling into her, no, not her brother. Not Damon!

“Bells, I’m looking for a cure. I’m going to talk with Klaus about that.”

“Are you crazy? How about Elena? Is she still alive? What about Lexi?” Isabella asked panicking.

“They are both fine. Elena and Lexi are with him. Bonnie will be waiting for you at the airport of the town to take you to the house.”

“Okay. My clothes and room are still there right?”

“Yes big sister. See you soon. Bye”

“Thank you. See you soon little brother. Bye”

Both hang up. What she was going to tell Edward? She decided to call Angela, maybe she could help her. That was the only solution. She picked up her cell phone and dialed the number.

“Hello?” Came the voice on the other side.

“Angela? I need your help!”

“What kind of help?”

“I need you to tell the story to the Cullen’s. I need come back home.”

“What happened?”

“Damon was bitten by a mutt… and I need to see him.”

“My poor little boy toy! I’m gonna miss him.” Angela teased.

“Angela, don’t joke now!” Isabella pleaded.

“Okay. I was only breaking the ice. How that bite happen?”

“I don’t know. Stefan only told me that we was bitten. He is going to look for a cure.”

“Okay. Is anything else you need?”

“I need you to give them the power to walk in the sun, please. If they go look for Charlie to know something wait for them in the driveway and bring them to Mystic Falls. Bonnie may need you and your power. Please Angela.”

“Okay darling. You know, you were more fun when you didn’t have your humanity.”

“Angela, I always had my humanity. My humanity is my brothers. So I never lost her. I know I was more fun that time. Maybe I will still be that way when I get back home.” Isabella laughed.

“Okay. Bye darling. Good luck.”

“Thank you. See you soon.”

Both hang up the phone. Isabella packed her bag with all her journals and decided to wait for Edward to tell she was going to leave but someone was going to explain everything. Half an hour later someone knocked on the door. When she opened it was Edward, alone. He kissed her and she held on to him for dear life, then she took his hand and made him sit down on the couch with her on his side.

“Edward, I need to tell you something.”

“What’s wrong, love?” Edward asked, his topaz eyes getting a glint of wariness in them.

“I need to leave. Something happened with my family,” she sighed.

“I’m going with you,” he said immediately.

“No! You can’t,” Bella said with her eyes widening. “Edward you don’t understand…I’m….”

“Love?”

“I’m not human,” Bella whispered.

“Of course you are human, silly girl,” Edward chuckled.

“No I’m not,” she shook her head and Edward turned serious. “But everything will be explained. Someone is going to explain everything to you tomorrow.”

“But… love…”

“I’m sorry but I need to go. I hope you can forgive me someday for lying. But never forget, I love you, I always did. I will always wait for you, Edward,” she whispered.

“Bella…”

Isabella embraced him and kissed him deeply, disappearing a moment after. Edward was stunned. What the hell had just happened? And what was that about her not being human? He shook his head. He had to go back home and tell his family so they could search for Isabella, he wouldn’t lose her. Meanwhile Isabella had compelled Charlie to forget about her and Angela had made a spell to erase the town people memories of Isabella Swan. In the airport, Isabella sighed.

“Here I come Mystic Falls.”

Cullen’s house

Edward arrived to his house alone and very confused. What did she mean by that? His family was waiting for him. Alice was waiting impatiently for Isabella because it was a Barbie Bella day, like she likes to say.

“Edward where’s Bella?” Alice asked.

“She left… We need to find her.”

“What do you mean she left?” Carlisle asked, worried about his daughter.

Edward explained everything that Isabella told him. Everyone was confused. Rosalie was the worst. She never liked Isabella but leaving Edward was the last straw.

“See? She never loved you! That’s why she left!”

“Shut up Rosalie! She loves me!” Edward said growling.

They continued arguing until Esme yelled at them to shut up and to start planning how they would find Isabella.

Mystic Falls, Virginia

Bonnie and Isabella, both were inside Bonnie’s car, driving through the small town of Mystic Falls. Bonnie was explaining what had happened since Damon’s bite until Stefan went to find Klaus and the cure.

“Thank you Bonnie for going to pick me up at the airport,” Isabella said.

“You welcome Isabella. How’s my cousin?”

“Bonnie, call me Bella, please. Isabella is too formal, just like 1860. And Angela’s great. She’s coming to help us.”

“Is she?”

“Yes. I asked her. We’re going to need your power and hers. She’s only going to do a little favor for me first.”

“What kind of favor?”

“I have a mate, boyfriend term for vampires. He is a different type of vampire. If he comes, we’ll explain everything.”

“They hunt humans?”

“Don’t worry. They drink animal blood. They call themselves vegetarians.”

“Vegetarians? Funny name,” Bonnie laughed.

“When I heard that, I really thought it was funny. And I bet Damon will have a sarcastic reply too.”

“Yes! I agree with you on that one.”

Isabella looked outside the window and decided ask a more serious questions.

“Elena is nothing like Katherine right?”

“Relax. She’s completely different. I think that’s the reason Damon fell in love with her.”

“Good. I hate Katherine with passion.”

“Don’t worry. If she appears here again we’ll kill her.”

“I like you Bonnie,” Bella decided with a laugh.

“I like you too. You are a good girl for a vampire,” Bonnie replied.

“Thank you.”

They quickly arrived to the mansion. Isabella quickly got in the house (seeing as it was hers too) and ran to Damon’s room. She saw Elena, Katherine’s doppleganger, on the bed with Damon and they were talking.

“I hoped you could present you my baby sister Bella.” Damon said with a very weak voice.

“How is she? Nice or like you?” Elena asked with curiosity.

Isabella was crying when saw how Damon was so weak and yet talking about her to his mate and hoping that they could get along.

“She’s a free spirit and outgoing but sometimes keeps to herself. She’s cocky and can be a bitch sometimes, but she is really a great and nice girl if you get to know her. My parents and Stefan sometimes said… she is the female Damon,” Damon laughed weakly.

“You’re joking, right?”

“No, I’m not joking. I’m going to die and my only regret is not seeing her one last time.”

“You really love her?”

“She is my humanity besides you.”

Isabella not wanting waste any more time, made her presence known.

“I’m here, big brother,” Isabella said crying.

“Bells, come here,” Damon called her.

Isabella throws herself on the bed and started crying. She couldn’t lose Damon. Isabella saw Elena was crying too.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t present myself. I’m Isabella Salvatore, but you can call me Bella.”

“It is okay. I’m Elena Gilbert by the way.”

Elena and Isabella hugged each other. Damon smiled, a weak one but smiled.

“Finally I have my two girls here with me.”

Isabella put her head on Damon’s shoulder and sighed in content. She missed her brother and she was glad to see that he was still alive. I can’t lose you Damon. I can’t. She thought. Elena left the two siblings alone. They needed that time to talk. They deserved that time. She found Bonnie and Lexi downstairs.

“How’s he doing?” Lexi asked.

“He’s weak but happy some way.”

“Of course he’s happy. His sister came to him.” Bonnie said.

“Bella’s here? I need to see her!”

Lexi then decided to talk with Isabella but she was stopped by Elena.

“Lexi wait! Let them be together. They need this little time alone.”

“You are right. I forgot that part. He needs her.”

They sat down and waited for Stefan to bring the cure. Meanwhile in Damon’s room, the two siblings were talking.

“He’s alive, Damon. My Edward is alive. He is a vampire but alive.”

“I’m so glad baby sister. I’m sorry if I’m not there to take you to him on your wedding day.” Damon coughed.

“Please don’t say that big brother. I need you! Stefan will bring the cure.”

“Please Bells. I know that I’m gonna die.”

“Damon…”

Isabella started crying when Elena got in again with Bonnie and Lexi. Elena went to stay next to Damon and Lexi went to hug Isabella. Suddenly Katherine appeared and like always decided makes her stupid comments’.

“Looks who came to her big brother!”

“Shut up Katherine! What are you doing in my house?” Isabella growled.

“I bring the cure for Damon.” Katherine answered and gave something to Damon drink. “And by the way, Stefan gave himself to Klaus to save his brother.” And then throws a flask to Elena with a red liquid. “That’s the cure. Klaus blood is the cure for werewolves’ bites.” And the next second flies from the mansion.

Damon and the others look at each other. What did she mean by that? Stefan gave himself to Klaus? What stupid thing he did? Lexi in that moment send a text to Stefan saying that Damon was okay and Isabella returned in time.

“Bella came back in time. Don’t worry Damon is fine. When are you coming home?”

Meanwhile in another part of the town Stefan reads Lexi’s text and erased it. Now he couldn’t contact anyone he loved. Especially his siblings and the woman he loves. Klaus comes to him and present him a girl for him to feed on. And of course he couldn’t resist. The reaper is back.

Next day
Forks, Washington

The Cullen’s passed the night searching for Isabella but her scent disappeared completely after she left Charlie’s house. Edward was mopping in the living room and his sister, Alice was trying to find Isabella’s future in a way to find her but nothing. Something was blocking her. Rosalie and Emmett were fighting because of their different opinions about Isabella. Jasper, was trying calming everyone with his gift. Carlisle and Esme were worried with Edward and Isabella. Where was she? Suddenly they felt a scent. It was a human scent which was coming to their house. When they knocked Carlisle opened. It was Angela Webber.

“Angela? What are you doing here?” Alice asked.

“I came here to talk to all of you.”

“Okay. Come in.”

When they were all in the living room, Angela dropped the bomb.

“I know who you are and what you are!”

And everyone froze.
